The Bride & Groom

The groom was raised at 0 meters above-sea-level, happiest when eating, relaxing, and then doing it all over again. The bride grew up near the mountain tops, convinced that anything worth doing should involve at least three layers of complexity — whether it’s a trip, a project, or, naturally, a relationship. The only reliable way to make her stop moving is through an injury or surgery (and life has tried…).
It all started after a non-memorable encounter in Greece and a very Middle Ages–style correspondence that lasted over a month, before the groom decided to hop on a flight from Kenya to New York for their first date (because, why not?). Exactly a year later, he proposed — head full of bubbles, mouth full of crêpes — at La Closerie des Lilas in Paris, after a day filled with surprises and cuddles.
So of course, these two decided to get married. Somewhere between sea level and summit, they’ve found the perfect balance — proof that opposites don’t just attract; they also make each other laugh all the way up (and down).
And the rest is history..
